Tag: Laser Printer Toner

Everyday I take my toner cartridge out of the printer and shake it and put it back in just to get it to print good.

My neighbor tells me that is called dusting the cartridge. Effective as it may seem the inevitable will come sooner than later on.
I will have to break down and give my hard earned money to an office supply store for another cartridge.

I often preach to my children about recycling and the effects of not recycling it will have on their enviroment.
Like it matters to a 10 year old and a 12 year old. But just telling them often is all I can do for now.

It wasn’t until a couple of years ago I discovered that there were companies out there on the internet that would
recycle laser toner cartridges. So I decided to give it a try. What a challenge that was. Who do you pick, there are
so many of them with fluctuating prices from the dirt cheap to the extra expensive. But with the threat of voiding your warranty it was a chance I was willing to take.

As luck would have it I came across a company called Laser Cartridge Plus. Looking closely at the website I went from tab to tab looking for anything that might sway my opinion. So I just called them. They were polite and informative
as well as they assured me their 15 years in business had earned them several awards as well as they were dedicated
to recycling so I decided to give them a try. It was fairly simple to place the order over the web and they shipped me
the Laser Printer Toner for free with UPS. inside 2 days I had my cartridge and put it in the printer to see how it would
print. Within minutes I was up and printing and I could not see any visible difference.

For what is worth here are some suggestions that I have listed:

1. Be selective when you shop, my mommy always said you get what you pay for.

2. Look for free shipping, even if you have to buy 2 or 3 it pays in the long run.

3. Do they offer new customer discounts or specials that would apply to you?

4. Shake those laser printer cartridges until they are dry.

5. Buy from a reputable company, even if you have to do a little research on them.

Good Luck with your shopping and print on!

If you or your business ever have a need for a copier toner, it is important to have an understanding of how often your business or office uses your office printer or copier to be able to have an idea how many of these laser toner cartridge to order that would still be good for future use.

When it comes to supplies for office equipment such as copier toners  buying and ordering them in singles is not a good idea especially if the business is making a conscious effort to save on office supplies expenses. Just like any other items or supplies for sale, a good way to save on your purchase is to always buy in several quantities. First of all, we all know that buying at retail will usually mean buying them at a higher price than buying them wholesale or in bigger quantities. Usually, office supplies stores offer a different price or discounted price when you order more than one piece. Somehow, it makes sense for them because they will profit more if you buy more.

If you are already sold out to the idea of buying copier toners in bulk, is also a practical idea to not buy anything more than your one year consumption of laser printer toner or copier toner cartridge because there is a high chance that it may no longer print as good as you want them to do especially if they were opened from their own packaging, whether unintentionally or intentionally. However, if your business also involves re-selling laser toner cartridges, then there is no reason why you shouldn’t order them in bulk, is there?

Keep that there are toners that won’t work well with certain laser printers or copiers from a specific brand. It is a practical idea to read the user manual for some special instructions regarding the use and replacement of toners.

If you want to play it safe, you may want to keep using the same type of brand for a particular laser copier toner. For instance, if you are using a Xerox docucolor 12 copier or printer, you may want to buy Xerox copier toner cartridges for that or any copier toner cartridge for it. The same applies to other copier toner brands such as a Canon NPG toner, a Ricoh print cartridge, a Savin toner cartridge or a Toshiba toner cartridge for your replacement toner cartridges.
