I know a lot about internet marketing and I’ve learned a lot that assisted in my business getting bigger and better. The primary thing that is my strong suite is my ability to network with others. This is when I started attending seminars. I’ve been to a few hundred but didn’t go to them around 2001 or 2002. I wasn’t in the right frame of mine when I attended them. Then out of the blue, I began to go to them again. It’s really amazing at how many people you can meet going to these functions.
One day the phone rang and it was someone that remembered me from a seminar, who knew the SEO basics. He said he was the owner of a mailing list that had 50,000 people on it. He wanted to introduce my product line to the people on his list. At first I didn’t recall who he was. That’s when I learned from talking to him a little bit that we met at a seminar. When you’re at seminars, networking is a very powerful thing. Ever wonder how to get someone to be your affiliate?
The critical point is that the individual has to be fond of you. Being truthful, out in the open and creative has its finer points. The overall tone of the chat has to go well. The figures have to work. Your not going to get to far if the person isn’t fond of you.
If someone likes you they are more willing to do something for you. People usually like the people that they network with. Those that want to get out there and share. These are important things for me and I can’t stress how good it was to get back out and socialize in these networks at these seminars. If you look you can find some really good seminars.
$500 to $1000 is a lot to pay for a seminar and sometimes you might run into one that isn’t really that great, but you can still learn a great deal from them. Look at the offers that are on the table. How are other people being drawn to what is for sale. What kind of offer is that person making? How is the transaction being done? These are all very important points.
I wanted to bring up the subject of email, especially spam. What about those pop-ups that you see on websites that you surf to. Examine the spam. What can you learn from it? Observe how everything is put together and figure out how you can do the same thing. This is hard line ingenuity.
You can learn a lot by observing the competition. Get comfortable talking to other people. I have a few people that I know that I can tell them an idea and get some good feedback from them. When the time comes to make my products available to the public, these are the kind of people that will help me sell them.
It’s all about internet marketing.
