Pastor Rick came to our youth Bible study session 2 months ago and asked us if we could create a website for our church. He said that he would like for new residents to be able to find our church on the Internet when they moved in. Pastor Rick felt that a nice looking website with our address and some directions from major highways would be great for drawing new faces to church. The only thing he asked was that we keep the cost down as we need our money for helping people in need.

I have made a few hobby sites in the past, so I said that I would do it. I first looked into getting a free site for us to use. My thoughts were you can’t pay anything less than zero. I let the Pastor know that we could get a decent free site to use and he gave me the green light.

The first type of free web site I looked into was a WordPress blog. I figured that these are easy and simple to set up so it wouldn’t take much time. After giving it some more thought I decided that we should look into something a little more fancy. WordPress is great for quickly getting messages out, but I wanted to draw people into the church so that they could feel as great as I do each Sunday.

I decided I needed something with more of a “wow factor”. The use of a free flash site is what we really needed for our church site. With a flash site I would be able to make a neat introduction and even add some flash animations to really make the site appealing. Site visitors that are impressed by the site might end up coming to the church. Conversely a poorly made web site might keep people from wanting to visit so I knew I had to do a good job.

I went on the Internet looking for a free flash web site before I did anything else. After looking around for awhile I came to a site that had what I was looking for. I ended up finding this free site through an article site. The author of the article had done some great research on finding free flash sites. I even got to choose from a few free templates for my new site. Many animations were provided and everything was really easy to set up.

We used a local Minneapolis seo company to optimize the website for more free search engine traffic. This organization created back links and optimized our on page site structure. The process was so simple on our end.

Well two months later we got a new family to come to our church. Pastor Rick asked them who referred them, and they said a web site they found online.

It is not very easy to go about obtaining a free flash web site on the Internet. These sites are great for making captivating introductions, great animations, and even interactive advertisements. I had heard that there were many places to get free sites so I thought that it would be just as easy to get a flash site as it is to get any other kind of web site.

Unfortunately when I started looking for free web sites, all I could find were blog sites. Blog sites are great if you are just trying to get your message out on the Internet. Unfortunately, blogs are not very good for web masters trying to make something unique and appealing to the eye.

I did not just want to get my message out, in fact I really just wanted to make a better looking web site than my brother. Since he created a flash site, I figured I’d have to create one as well. My brother’s web site had a fancy looking intro that really appealed to people. A multitude of my buddies went to his website to look at his cool intro. Another reason they went there was to enrage me, but I don’t want to talk about that.

Although I searched all over the Internet I never found a flash site that I could make for free. In the end I went ahead and got onto my brothers computer to find the location of his free website. I went into his room while he was out with his girl friend and got onto his computer. He does not know this but I have his screen saver password memorized so I was easily able to access his computer and all of his files.

I scoured his book marks and eventually found a page that seemed to be all about flash sites. The page was an article about how to build flash introductions, and on the bottom of the article was a link that said get a flash website for free. I clicked through the link and found a web site that did indeed offer free flash web sites.

The web site that I needed to remember was simple but I wrote it down anyway. Following this I got on my laptop and typed the website address in. It didn’t take me long before my site was setup and ready to be worked on. My site isn’t completely done, but when it is I’m sure it will be better than my brothers.
