Influencing others is a large part of what I do with social media. People say that social media shouldn’t be used for selling. When you communicate with your customers, that is vital. Social media and radio and television commercials are pretty much the same. Sometimes those commercials are boring.
This is an important point. You have to be able to tell the difference between interacting with your customers and selling to them. They all use an SEO expert. The top sales people all have this kind of contact with their customers. They will spoon feed their customers interesting information to stay in touch with them. People can find solutions to their problems as well.
Where people get social media and use it all wrong it when they begin to shout, buy, buy, and buy to the people that are interacting with them. Nothing will turn people off more is this kind of activity. I don’t know why people do this, but it just does not work.
Social media is a wonderful tool that can be used to enhance your selling. It can highly influence people to go one way or the next. You don’t want to scream at people, interrupt them, spam them and stuff like that. Using stuff like I just mentioned will have your customers turning on you quickly.
I go about doing things a certain way when I launch a product. I will tweet and use a lot of different kinds of social media. I will also blog on my site as well. When people start to chat with you, this is where you can see what people are interested in.
I mix it up when I talk to my customers. I create videos in a certain way. They have different programs out there that will let you know which ones of your videos did well in the market. If they visit the URL that I put in my video, this is how I can also tell how well I am doing.
I concentrate on doing very targeted means of communication. I tweet a certain way; I will put new content on my blog on a regular basis and I communicate with other social media realms with other people. Everything all works. I do pre-teleseminars. Everything has its place and fulfils a certain purpose.
When individuals contact me, I reply back to them. You’d be surprised at the conversations that you can have with others. This let’s me know if I am interesting or not. I always make a suggestion to have them tell their friends about me. What it boils down to is this; social media is a great tool if you use it the right way.
